5 Secrets for Feeling Unstoppable

When we think of “unstoppable,” we think of fictional super-human abilities, like Wonder Woman or James Bond. We may see highly productive people and think to ourselves “how do they do it…what’s their secret!?” Today, we’re here to share the exciting news that you TOO can feel unstoppable! All it takes are a few easy adjustments to your day-to-day. Let’s go!

SECRET 1: Develop Clear Goals

First and foremost, if you want to be unstoppable, you’ll need to set clear goals to guide your path. When you have actionable short-term and long-term goals, your likelihood for success skyrockets.

For many people, the first instinct is to pick something broad and drastic like losing 50 pounds, but that doesn’t set you up to win. List out bite-size, achievable goals that lead towards a larger goal, like “Do dance cardio workouts three times a week.” Need help getting started? SECRET 2: Embrace Discipline

Hey, good news! You don't have to run 20 miles at 4 AM every day to be a go-getter. Discipline is born when you cultivate an unwavering commitment to your goals no matter what life throws at you.

Let’s face it, sometimes you have to do hard things to get what you want. That’s what separates a wish from reality. The key is to accept that “tough stuff” comes with the process, but always striving for choices that bring you closer to your goal. Nothing feels better than overcoming your doubt!

SECRET 3: Commit to a Feel-Good Routine

The easiest way to build a habit is by doing something you love! Incorporate daily rituals and routines you actually look forward to. Think about it as a domino effect: the more you like doing your routine, the more you’ll make time for it, and the stronger your commitment grows. The best part? It’ll become one of the highlights of your day that you can always go to when you need a pick-me-up!

Dance cardio and strength training are proven to burn calories, boost endorphins, and improve mood. That means each time you sweat with us, you’re supporting your goals and your total-body wellness.

Here are some other effective feel-good activities to add to your daily routine:

  • • Make your bed, open the windows, and stretch
  • • Hydrate with 16oz (2 cups) of water upon waking up
  • • Get 5 minutes of sunlight before starting your day
  • • Exercise; ideally in the morning to boost energy, but whenever your schedule allows
  • • Aim for nutritious, healthy snacks and meals
  • • Make time for a “moment of peace” every day—a walk, a break from your desk, a five-minute meditation, journaling, reading, or calling a loved one.
  • • When in doubt, slow down and breathe
  • • Prioritize sleep; aim to wake up and go to bed at the same time every day if possible

SECRET 4: Persist Through Hard Times

Persistence is one of the most powerful ways to combat procrastination, lack of motivation, and setbacks. Long-term goals are a labor of love, which means you can’t abandon ship the minute things get hard or you get off course. Stay focused and flexible. SECRET 5: Believe In Yourself

Truly being unstoppable boils down to believing in yourself and what you’re capable of. Determined, courageous, purposeful, fierce—use whatever term you like, but the bottom line is that confidence is key if you want to be unstoppable. Don’t be scared to try new things, look silly, or fail, because those efforts all drive you closer towards your goals.

Each day is a fresh start and another chance to achieve your goals.

Being unstoppable means something different for everyone. It may mean having more energy to keep up with your grandkids or it may mean crushing six workouts a week. Whatever your goals are, creating healthy everyday habits will help carry you to the finish line!
