SALES MANAGER
 

JOIN OUR TEAM

We are on a mission to empower people to improve their health and fitness. And we are seeking a Sales Manager excited to collaborate, bring new perspectives, develop relationships within a territory, and empower our franchisees to launch and improve their own Jazzercise business. As a member of the Jazzercise sales team, you'll be working on sales strategies with our current franchise owners, building a community, and welcoming our newest associates to ownership.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Share our mission and value in a compelling way engaging our owners and associates
  • Build communities of successful owners in your territory
  • Forge relationships with internal teams and external networks
  • Analyze sales cycle and implement improvements
  • Maintain active franchisee account information and diligence in tracking/recording all related activities to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Partner with other sales managers, training specialists, customer care, marketing, and IT to ensure smooth rollout of programs and on-boarding of owners and associates
  • Manage every stage of sales: planning, lead generation, conversion, and more...
 

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

  • 3+ years of account-based sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong relationship building ability; you excel at finding win-win solutions
  • Consultative approach to sales; you understand pain-points of franchisees and address their needs through our trusted solutions
  • Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Solid understanding of customers and revenue generation
  • Intermediate to advanced user of MS office (specifically, Excel)
  • Ability to work from home (if outside the Carlsbad, California area)
  • Ability to travel periodically within region or to corporate, once safe
  • Knowledge of the fitness industry, preferred

AGILE PROJECT MANAGER in IT
 

As the Agile Project Manager, you will work with our cross-functional team and manage the development of Jazzercise’s Enterprise Systems. These systems comprise of core business management functions: franchises, classes, facilities, customers, memberships, billing, reporting, and training. You will also help manage cross-departmental projects and tasks which require support by the IT department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the team including creating, prioritizing, and managing backlogs of work.
  • Facilitate agile practices such as Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, and Retrospectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, create, and maintain project plans with resource estimations and deadlines.
  • Create and manage project documentation, including the original plan, any working papers, status reports, meeting minutes, issue logs, and any other documentation related to the management and administration of the project.
  • Report schedule, budget, and delivery details to stakeholders.
  • Identify and rectify potential issues with scope and resource changes.
  • Perform other duties assigned as business needs change.
 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in agile project management
  • Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques
  • Must have experience with the following platforms: JIRA and Confluence, Monday.com (not required, but a plus)
  • Experience with development life-cycle process and best practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, and take ownership of work
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and initiative with a positive attitude
 
SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER in IT
 

As the lead software engineer, you will help establish development standards and drive overall technical architecture for Jazzercise’s Enterprise Systems. These systems comprise of core business management functions: franchises, classes, facilities, customers, memberships, billing, reporting, and training. You will build high quality and architectural sound systems that align with our business processes and goals. You will be hands on, lead, and contribute to multiple simultaneous development efforts. The ideal candidate is a visionary, thinks globally, strives for simplicity, creative, and has sound judgement.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish development standards and best practices
  • Work with colleagues to implement technical designs
  • Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, pinpoint and resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain existing and new features and functions for the entire Jazzercise Enterprise Systems.
  • Perform other duties assigned as business needs change
 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in software engineering
  • Must have experience with the following: Rails, React, Bootstrap, SQL
  • Must have experience with the following platforms: Stripe, Continuous Integration, Github, JIRA and Confluence, Selenium
  • Experience leading development life-cycle process and best practices
  • Experience with Agile, Service Oriented Architecture, micro-services, containerization, distributed systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve and take ownership of work
  • Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Strong work ethic and initiative with a positive attitude
