Jazzercise Hosted a Weekend-long Dance Fitness Getaway and It Was Epic

Over 1,000 Jazzercise customers and instructors from around the world came together last weekend for a weekend-long dance fitness and shopping convention we call Jazzercise Live!. Hosted at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa in Palm Desert, the fun consisted of various cardio dance fitness and strength classes led by Jazzercise elite professional choreographers including our Founder & CEO Judi Sheppard Missett and President of Jazzercise, Shanna Missett Nelson.

Who doesn't get excited to shop?! Some footage from our Shopping Expo fun! #JazzerciseLive

Excitement was through the roof, and the energy was contagious. Crowds rushed the room once doors opened on Friday with the kick-off class featuring Shanna and her krew.

What a start to an epic #JazzerciseLive weekend! Let's keep the energy going tomorrow, #fitkrew!

The Jazzercise krew went LIVE from the event, recording routine tapings that go out to all our franchisees, so event-goers got to be a part of the action!

Rise and shine! It's time to #bringtheheat again! Great start to the day with Live Routine Taping with the krew at#JazzerciseLive

Saturday provided a full lineup of exhilaration with fully-charged classes and shopping. After an adrenaline-rushing round two of live taping, the crowds were led through a Pilates and yoga flow, followed by a high-intensity Burst Class, that was exactly what it sounds like.

Ashley McConnell Davis leads us in a Pilates and yoga mix we like to call Yoga Fusion. Stretching, flexing, and flowing never felt so good! #JazzerciseLive

Long-time Jazzercise friend Tim Roberts was there to teach a rousing hip hop routine the audience went crazy for. Featured instructors and Jazzercise personalities showcased some friendly competition with a Duel Off that spurred some audience members to create their own after class.

Duel Off! Toni Gonzalez and Emily Tyson just owned everyone in class! Bringing the heat? Nope we're bringing the FIRE!

The finale class radiated good vibes and bright colors. Judi, Shanna, Young McCarthy and the rest of the instructor krew got the crowd hyped up and dancing in the dark with an all-new Glow Dance Party, where attendees wore white tees and fluorescent jewelry under black lights, showing what it really means to “Own Your Glow.” Jazzercise’s Toni Gonzalez (instructor at Jazzercise Carlsbad Fitness Center) sang ‘What the World Needs Now is Love’ which brought those on stage and off nearly to tears.

Judi Sheppard Missett wrapped up the event and the Jazzercise mission with this touching message, “Use that glow that you have, use that joy and that love to shine way out into the universe. When you have joy and love, you have great power, so I want you to use that power to get stronger and then go out and help others become stronger.”

Amazing last routine featuring vocals by the talented Toni Pitruzzello Gonzalez, and an uplifting message by our CEO/Founder Judi Sheppard Missett to end a spectacular #JazzerciseLive weekend! #Love

What a great time of Jazzercise Live 2016......spectacular talent, great fitness routines, and all in a beautiful setting.
It was bitter sweet leaving this years event, why? Because, there was no announcement as to where next years event will be. !!! This is the first time in years I have no idea where I will be going next June, makes me sad.
