The Jazzercise Dancers

Featuring Judi Sheppard Missett, Shanna Missett Nelson, and top Jazzercise Instructors, this group of talented performers is ready to rock the Crescent City. Their hot moves and funky style is just a preview of what you’ll see throughout the convention. What a way to start the party!

Charmaine Neville and Band

Charmaine is part of the legendary musical family, The Nevilles. At age 16 she started out singing with her father’s band (Charles Neville) House Band. She went on to form her own band Real Feelings.

“I don’t really worry about being able to capture one kind of crowd, because I do enough variety that….I feel I can reach everyone!”

— Charmaine Neville

Henry Butler

A rich amalgam of jazz, Caribbean, classical, pop, blues, and R&B influences, his music is as excitingly eclectic as that of his New Orleans birthplace.

Playing piano since the age of six, Butler is a master of musical diversity. Combining the percussive jazz piano playing of McCoy Tyner and the New Orleans-style playing of Professor Longhair through his classically trained wizardry, he continues to craft a sound uniquely his own.

Amanda Shaw

From studying classical violin starting at age four to performing as a soloist with the adult orchestra at seven and then moving on to Cajun fiddling and into the public eye at age eight, Amanda quickly established and expanded her reputation as “that little fiddle girl.”

Now a teenager, she has not only racked-up an impressive set of performance credentials but has also released her third CD and played a major supporting role in two Disney movies, Now You See It and Stuck In The Suburbs.
