Maggie talks about her inspiration, her sister.
My oldest sister died from
breast cancer. I remember the day my sister, Anita,
died. She had been suffering for months. Since
we lived in different areas of the country at
this time, I didn't have the opportunity to be
with her as much as I would have wanted. Just
a few short years ago, I was working in my office
when one of my other sisters called me with the
news. Our sister had finally succumbed to breast
cancer.
My original goal was to
raise the $150 which I raised in less than one
day. Then I had a mission to truly make a statement
to raise the money in memory of my sister so I
targeted the $2,000 amount.

Maggie raised $ 2,170.00 dollars.
The Art & Soul Tour
was fantastic!!! Full of energy and excitement
for Jazzercise and the two wonderful organizations.
The smaller environment (compared to Jam) allowed
everyone to really feel and see Judi's passion
for Jazzercise and it was contagious. Thank you!!!

The Art & Soul Tour
in Louisville, KY was a huge success, everyone
attending had so much fun. I heard several people
at my center fretting over the $150.00 pledge
obligation, DON'T! Just get to your computer,
compose a letter and address list (insurance person,
doctor, accountant, lawyer, family, friends, just
anyone), and you will be amazed at the response.
Don't forget to send a self addressed stamped
envelope with the letter to make it as easy as
possible for them to get their checks to you.
Oh, by the way I raised $1,000.00. Good Luck!

The AST was great! It is
awesome to realize that we are part of something
that is far reaching, so many different people
from different walks of life with a commonality.
We are linked by health, fitness and a love for
Jazzercise.

AST was great fun…and
a wonderful workout, as always! The camaraderie
we all had around fitness and fun was combined
with working to effect a good change for great
causes. And I couldn’t believe the responses
I got from people when I asked for pledges –
they truly acted like I was doing them a favor,
giving them an opportunity to give to such worthy
causes!
